Movie MeMe

So before Sarah gives her update on work-related news, I must reply to my dear friend Eric's Movie MeMe challenge. And since there is no category for this, I must put in a plug for the last really good movie I've seen: Charlie Wilson's War. A bit "worldly" but very witty, very insightful, and great performances.

1. One movie that made you laugh
Hot Fuzz

2. One movie that made you cry
I Am Sam -- not because I share names with the main character. That scene where they are tearing the girl away from Sam... only heartless trolls will give no emotive response to that scene.

3. One movie you loved when you were a child

Flight of the Navigator! (Close tie with Swiss Family Robinson)

4. One movie you’ve seen more than once

Punch Drunk Love

5. One movie you loved, but were embarrassed to admit it

Toss-up between Zoolander and Baseketball

6. One movie you hated
Art School Confidential -- I want my time and money back.

7. One movie that scared you

Art School Confidential -- people got paid to make this movie. Frightening.

8. One movie that bored you
Transformers

9. One movie that made you happy
Amelie -- only heartless trolls will give no emotive response to this movie.

10. One movie that made you miserable

Last King of Scotland

11. One movie you weren’t brave enough to see

Most movies (i.e. The Ring, 28 Days Later)

12. One movie character you’ve fallen in love with

Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday in Tombstone. So good. (I just now re-read "fallen in love with" and rethought how I should respond to that... I'm a married man, so I'll have to go with the platonic "fallen in love")

13. The last movie you saw

Barton Fink

14. The next movie you hope to see
New Batman!

15. Now tag five people:
I choose to end this here and now.
