New Addition to the Albertson Family!

We have some very exciting news to share with everyone. The story goes like this...

Sarah was at work one day and her co-workers decided she could take home one of the office plants. So she excitedly toted it on the commuter train and brought it to our apartment. It was here for a few days until Sarah looked at the plant and gasped...

A frog. Sitting on the leaf.

Well, we really have no clue where this little guy came from. My best theory is that it was a mere tadpole in the crannies of the plant (which holds water quite well), and somehow found food in the wilds of a downtown Boston office. After a few weeks, we realized that we have been made rulers over this wild beast. We are responsible for a living thing.

Ten dollars later, we had a small terrarium with a small water dish, a bag of crickets, and some freshly-picked leaves and grass blades. Froggy likes to remain hidden under the leaves now that he isn't free-roaming in our apartment (even then he stuck to the leaf crannies, only occasionally venturing out onto our window or wall). We'll see how long he can stand the Albertson household...
