Book YouYou

Sarah and I accept Loretta's outlandish "Book Meme" challenge, and respond with one of our own. Let's color-code this, according to cliché gender colors. Sarah, will you do the honors?

"Sure, my handsome husband. By the way, you should go out and buy some CDs right after this. Here are my answers to Loretta's questions"

1) How many books do you own?
6 moving boxes full

2) What was the last book that you read?
Robinson Crusoe

3) Name five books that mean a lot to you.
Catcher in the Rye (Salinger), Uncle Tom's Cabin (Stowe), The Velveteen Rabbit (what?), Mansfield Park (Austin), and A Tale of Two Cities (Dickens) Do we have to chose only 5? I have so many more!

My turn!!

1) How many books do you own?

Three. Oh, wait, all the rest are packed...

2) What was the last book that you read?
The operation manual for our digital camera. So good.

3) Name five books that mean a lot to you.
Three Billy Goat's Gruff (Janet Stevens), The Berenstain Bears Forget Their Manners (Stan Berenstain), Hardy Boys #010: What Happened At Midnight (Franklin W. Dixon), Peter Rabbit (Beatrix Potter), and Everyone Poops (Taro Gomi). With the exception of the latter, these had a big hand in my development.

The return-challenge to Loretta (the collective - "a," "r," and "k")? A flower meme!

1) What flowers do you own?
Bleeding Hearts, Double-blooming Impatients, Fern, Bear Grass, Verbenia, and "Spider Plant"
2) Name the last flower that you smelled, and enjoyed.
Honeysuckle
3) Name five flowers that mean a lot to you.
Tulips, Lillies, Lupen, Camillias, Magnolias (not just because of the movie).

Go!
